AeroGrid is an open source, modular platform for autonomous AI-powered weather drones designed to perform and expand upon the capabilities of traditional weather balloons. Combining reusable high-altitude aircraft, advanced atmospheric sensors, real-time data streaming, and intelligent weather forecasting, AeroGrid creates a distributed network for continuous atmospheric observation, severe weather monitoring, and community-driven meteorological research.

This project is to manage and develop the weather forecasts on https://blipmaps.nl which are done using RASP. It uses data from GFS and ICON which it can process using WRF-ARW and some voodoo from Dr. Jack to produce some nice overviews.

Captures, stores, and displays data from an AcuRite‎ Iris/Atlas weather station and towers via an Access/smartHUB. Uploads data to Weather Underground, CWOP, Weathercloud, PWS Weather, Windy, Windguru, and OpenWeatherMap.
