The present book came out of writing down my own experiences with educational research and tinkering with R. Though there are several excellent texts that cover statistics with R, I thought the having examples from educational research will help the scholars who are just begining their journey towards research.

There are tasks every now and then which can help in understanding concepts behind the computations.

Finds properties of Greenland fjords (e.g., length, width, bathymetry) and aggregates these along the length of the fjord at specified intervals (e.g., 10 km). Additional raster data can be aggregated along the fjord, such as sea-ice, chlorophyll-a, or turbidity.

Cluster-concat is a pipeline that auto-extracts features from video clips, places them on an Endel-style grid, groups them by nearby BPM, and generates ffmpeg concat lists. It also includes X (Twitter) re-encode steps, so you can drop in a bunch of clips and get concatenated videos almost fully automatically.
