This software computes the electrical energy requirements of a fleet of vehicles. It also determines how much of this energy can be offset by renewable energy. It does all this by analyzing the fleet's GPS traces and applying EV and PV models. Please contact us if you require the source code. Contact details are provided on our project website:

LumenKinetic Network is a modular piezoelectric surface system that converts mechanical motion—such as footsteps, vibration, and structural pressure—into usable electrical energy while simultaneously generating structured real-time data about that motion. Designed as a scalable grid of intelligent tiles, the system functions as both an energy-harvesting infrastructure and a distributed sensing network, enabling environments to produce power and actionable spatial intelligence from everyday movement.

HotSide Collective is an open-source thermal infrastructure standard that enables safe recovery of waste heat from liquid-cooled compute systems and redirects it into usable hydronic energy for buildings, campuses, and district heating networks. It defines a modular, vendor-neutral framework spanning mechanical design, control systems, and integration protocols to transform data centers into active participants in local energy ecosystems.

This thesis addresses the challenges of modernizing Germany's power grid, quantifying risks posed by renewable energy in terms of grid stability. Stability measures are defined. Variability is quantified by fitting Gaussian Mixture Models (GMM) Principal on the Component Analysis (PCA) which is used for dimensionality reduction. Using MCMC techniques find low-probability patterns linked to blackouts and desynchronization.
