GrowGood is an open-source software platform designed to support regenerative agriculture, from small-scale home gardeners to larger commercial operations. It leverages standards like ValueFlows and JSON-LD to create an interoperable ecosystem for tracking resources, processes, and economic activity.

Here you will find our Architectural Decision Records (ADRs), API and database specifications, UI/UX design documents, user scenarios, and future roadmap. This repository is the single source of truth for the GrowGood project.

This repository hosts the GrowGood Administrator UI, a desktop application for designing and managing the operational workflows of the GrowGood farm management system.

It provides administrators with tools to:

Visually build Recipes: Create and manage reusable process templates for any farm activity using a node-based graphical editor. Manage a Farm Library: Curate master data for plants, animals, and other resources. Assemble Blueprints: Group recipes into comprehensive operational plans.

The final application will be built with Flutter. This repository currently contains the initial prototyping and validation environment built with Jupyter Notebooks, which was used to model and test the ValueFlows recipe concepts.

The "Data Integration Service" supports the subscription to external data services and ingestion and integration of these data. There are existing but under-exploited data sources and data products relevant to farming sector that are open for use or available under low-cost subscription schemes.

Currently integrates with: a) weather monitoring and forecast services e.g., OpenWeather API, b) Earth Observation - Analysis Ready Data including from Sentinel-Hub API, c) Pest infestation prediction services from H2020 IPM Decisions.
