Release 3.0.0

Release 3.0.0

This merge request prepares the 3.0.0 release of the GitLab Duo Agent Translation Platform.

Changes Made

  • Updated CHANGELOG.md to move all [Unreleased] entries to the new [3.0.0] section
  • Set release date to 2026-04-15

Release Notes Summary

This major release includes significant new language support, agent intelligence improvements, and documentation restructuring:

Added:

  • Korean (ko-KR) language specification: style guide, termbase (~450 terms from approved Crowdin glossary), and system prompt integration (!71 (merged))
  • Translation memory and target update protection via git history query: agent now queries about-gitlab-com commit history at runtime to detect specialist edits, uses them as protected segments when translating, and flags conflicts when reviewing Translation MRs. Specialist roster maintained in translation-memory/specialists.yml (!73 (merged) area, Enterprise AI Hackathon 2026)
  • Terminology Extraction Agent system prompt (system-prompt-term-extraction.md) (!66 (merged))
  • specifications/file_formats/ directory with yaml-parsing-rules.md placeholder (!65 (merged))
  • Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation for GDATP (!62 (merged))
  • Merge request creation step to system prompt: instructs agent to use translation MR template and fill in Source MR and Argo Request fields for CI/CD automation (!49 (merged))

Changed:

  • Improved target update conflict comment template: concise single-table format, explicit next steps, agent attribution footer, and tone guidance to prevent verbose output (!73 (merged))
  • Restructured and simplified Standard Operating Procedure in getting-started.md (!64 (merged))
  • Improved website translation rules: added missing non-translatable keys, clarified href post-processing workflow, added heuristic for dynamically added keys, added embedded Markdown/HTML guidance, and added Schema.org structured data exception (!63 (merged))
  • Renamed core style guide to website-translation-rules.md; consolidated "Never Translate" rules as single source of truth; system prompt now references translation rules file (!57 (merged))
  • Updated README to reflect core style guide restructuring (!58 (merged))
