[Outreachy 2024] [Pre-Requisite] [Step 4] Promote your intro blog post on social media
Summary
Write and publish social media posts on your personal accounts to promote your blog post written in #155 (closed). Add a comment here with links to your social media posts to verify completion.
Background
You should already have seen #140 (closed), #153 (closed), #154 (closed), and #155 (closed) to learn more about Fedora and our community. This issue is considered a pre-requisite to be considered eligible for the Fedora Community Architect Outreachy internship. Non-completion of this issue means an applicant will not be considered for the Outreachy internship.
So, now that you have set up a blog and written your first post about Fedora, next we want you to promote yourself! The ask here is to come up with one or many social media posts that promote your blog post and has a call-to-action for readers to engage with your blog post. It does NOT matter what platform you use or how many followers and subscribers you have. Use the platform that you are most comfortable with and craft a captivating message that inspires a reader to open the link to your blog post.
The goal for this task is to help the mentor team evaluate your ability at generating social media content and ability to craft a captivating message. This is a chance for you to put your own unique spin on something, because we are asking you to use your own social channels. You know your audience better than us, so don't feel like you need to mimic the voice of an official Fedora account. The purpose of this is to see your voice, not what voice you think you should be using.
Consider how you will track and measure engagement over time. This will come up in a future task.
