wisp-bridge (Wireless Internet Service Provider Bridge) is a high-performance Layer 2 MAC-NAT daemon written in pure Rust for Linux hypervisors (KVM, QEMU, Proxmox VE, libvirt). It circumvents the IEEE 802.11 3-address limitation on client (STA) interfaces, allowing virtual machines and containers to transparently obtain routable IPv4 addresses directly from upstream physical routers with sub-microsecond in-place packet translation and zero host network disruption.
