A simple substitution / rotation cipher implementation in Python to demonstrate the concept of encryption.

This project provides a Python implementation for breaking classical substitution ciphers.

Generates a property list of replacement phrases from a dictionary source, allowing umlauts to be replaced natively and system-wide by macOS text replacement. Can be used to type keys on umlaut positions with an English or US keyboard.
