KiM Explorer is a two-stage RAG application for transport policy research publications from the KiM Netherlands Institute for Transport Policy Analysis. Users perform semantic search to identify relevant documents, manually select publications, then interact with an LLM using full document context rather than chunks. A website for creating and managing train compositions. It stores the composition itself, the data of individual freight wagons, and the data of the train formation, all of which can be accessed and modified at any time. The server connects to the sensors on each wagon via LoRaWAN to perform automatic updates.
