Inconvenient reference formats
Many of the references in GlaThiDa use an abridged format:
Authors
, Year
, Journal
(abbreviation)
This is not very convenient for locating the original source. For example, searching Google Scholar for Aleynikov et al., (2002). Nor. Hydr. does not return any useful results but Aleynikov et al., (2002) Nordic Hydrology does. As it turns out, the article has a DOI (https://doi.org/10.2166/nh.2002.0006).
Such references should be enhanced for ease of use. For references with a DOI or other canonical URL, I suggest including the following:
Authors
, Year
, URL
While for references without a canonical URL, I suggest including the following:
Authors
, Year
, Journal
or Publisher
(full name), and Volume
, Issue
, Pages
, ... as appropriate
