Something like Dark Souls' lock-on will make it easier to manage multiple enemies and make sure you hit the right one. Too prevent this from making projectile aiming trivial, there can be a limit on how close you can be to lock-on.

I think we've specifically tried to stay away from this. I'm going to set this as to-be-closed, unless someone comes in and tells be otherwise. @timokoesters would know the most on this.
I personally don't know, but I know it was talked about. That's why I want to get someone else in here who might have been part of that conversation. Timo should know, or know someone who knows
We decided against lock-on for combat at some point. This makes skill more important and you can train aiming. We could still use this feature for npc interactions or something like that, but I'm going to close it for now.
I think it was the distinction of camera-lock vs attackdirrection-lock. If I remember correctly the direction you attack in in the game right now is tied to where your cursor is, so having a lock-on would cheapen combat. if they separate the two they could re-introduce a camera-lock
I think that would be a good idea. Can we get this re-opened @AngelOnFira?
