HTML output is incorrect
When I generate subplot.html
with docgen
, and run the HTML tidy command on it, it fails:
$ tidy -errors subplot.html
...
Info: Document content looks like HTML5
Tidy found 283 warnings and 0 errors!
We should probably add tidy
to ./check
to make sure generated HTML is correct.
Firefox renders the page just fine, but web browsers are notoriously good at taking whatever old crap and present it in a tolerable way. Subplot should do better.
We can expect Subplot docgen
output to be post-processed by other software, and this will be easier if the HTML is correct.
