[.Stat DLM] Comparison between data spaces
For a given Dataflow, data can be available in different data spaces. It is necessary for the user to be able to view all these data at once in the pivot table.
Business rule to confirm:
Values in Process are final and ready for Dissemination, the comparison between Process and Disseminate will be for the purpose of filtering or mapping the set of values. Therefore, if we need to edit values, it should be only necessary when compare between Collect and Process.
First suggestion
Data point cells are split into rows as per each data space. Colors should respect the colors defined for each data space.
Control Codes are represented into rows under values for each data space. But also all managed Attributes:
- Date created
- Modified by
- Date modified
- Diff
- Diff%
- Year-over-year growth rate
- Period-over-period growth rate
Second suggestion
Data point cells are split into rows as per each data space. Colors should respect the colors defined for each data space.
Control Codes are represented into new columns after each value and for each data space.
All other Attributes are split into rows under values for each data space:
- Date created
- Modified by
- Date modified
- Diff
- Diff%
- Year-over-year growth rate
- Period-over-period growth rate
Highlight options
The user needs to compare the different data values for each cell in a color code feature for highlighting the data differences.
- Red when values are different and control codes are identical.
- Blue when values are different and control codes are different.
- No color when values are identical but control codes are different. So green when option is selected.
- Salmon: i.e. no value in Process but value in Collect.
- Brown: i.e. no value in Collect but value in Process.
Overview
The user should be able to view a big and complex table with multiple color coding in an overview mode. It could be a panel that expand on the left side of the grid.
When the user clicks on a cell in the overview, the cell is also selected in the grid.
