[Recurring] Do a git push to your branch to doc/fairytale.md

After having created your own branch (#9 (closed)), you have to learn how to work on it. Hence this exercise, in which you'll contribute to a fairytale
Do a trivial git push
on your branch.
Basic workflow
git
is the most popular version control system. Without git
, we cannot collaborate.
However, when setting up git
, one may run into trouble. Hence, this exercise
- Install 'Git Bash' on Windows, or install
git
on Linux/Mac - Clone the repo
- Modify README in any -possibly trivial- way, e.g. at the bottom
- Push to master
Commands you will need:
git clone https://gitlab.com/luckeyproductions/games/BlipNBlup.git
cd BlipNBlup
cd docs

git checkout richel
(activate your branch, use your own branch name here) - Edit
fairytale.md
, e.g.notepad fairytale.md
(Windows) orgedit fairytale.md
(Linux) or any text editor git add .
git commit -m "Something trivial"
git push
As well as:
git pull
-
git merge develop
(merge the code from thedevelop
branch to yours)
