Wording error in DLs/DL-0311/doc/scroll.md
The "RAM Layout" subsection contains the following wording, which is confusing when phrased this way in English:
All values are divided by 256 and masked by 0xFFC0.
Example: 0x92C0 will point to the address 0x92C000 (and so will 0x92C4).
Given the specified example, then the only way the phrase "divided by 256" would be correct is if it applied to the values that are written to the register.
Without revising the example, there are a multiple ways the line before it could be phrased to make sense in English, which is why I'm filing this as an issue rather than as a merge request, as any of the suggestions can be taken:
All register values are masked by 0xFFC0 and multiplied by 256. All register values are masked by 0xFFC0 and shifted left by 8 bits.
Edit: I can't seem to successfully display multiple lines in a code block, so I'm slightly re-formatting the issue report. Edit, again: Putting multiple successive hyphens to try to demarcate the quoted original text causes the first line to be treated as a heading, so I'm just removing all markup from the issue report.
