- Chemnitzer Linuxtage virtual booth: @Moini asks if anyone would like to join us there for an Inkscape booth (https://chemnitzer.linux-tage.de/2021/en/ - Ian and Ryan have volunteered, we need one more, as Ryan can only be there one day) - we decided to submit a proposal (@Moini ), and to open up a table (@Moini ) where people can add their times of availability for a booth. We asked for opening hours from Chemnitzer Linuxtage at https://mastodon.art/@inkscape/105526915238545303
- discussion: additional writer recruitment could be 'boosted' by collecting a list of topics and preparing key words for them. There are topics that are not attached to a specific date. Possible topics include: technical details about development, information about the community, use case examples, specific skills needed to contribute, something about open source in general. The keyword lists could be linked in a call for contributors in our social media channels. Does this make sense? Would anyone like to organize? - postponed
- 1.1 release planning and status (can be deferred to next meeting)
- Review goals for 2020: #141 (closed) - postponed
- Testfest status report ( @CRogers @adam.belis @doctormo ) - progress in fixing bugs, no official testfest
- Website Progress status report ( @ryangorley @zigzagmlt @prkos ) - nothing new
- Other business - nothing, we've all been exhausted after the long meeting.
Conversations can continue after the hour... (If participants have time.)
Note: In order to make the meeting accessible to people with tight schedules we're working to keep it to 60 minutes. If an item above requires more than the limited time allotted, discussions may continue after the meeting, next month, or at separately scheduled times. All of these are important issues that warrant attention. Thanks for your patience with the effort to accommodate everyone.
The meeting is going to take place On January 9th in the Vectors' channel at https://chat.inkscape.org/channel/team_vectors or in the BBB instance (link will be announced in Vectors channel if that is used).
Time and calendar: https://inkscape.org/*inkscape-vectors/calendar/
