Inkscape accepted for Google Summer of Code 2019
Synopsis
- Inkscape is an approved organization, so we will be able to enroll students.
- students should get in touch as soon as possible!
- First, read the wiki page http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Google_Summer_of_Code
- for your application to be accepted by the project, you must have made 2 patches (small code contributions) for Inkscape
- introduce yourself on #inkscape-devel on IRC, on https://chat.inkscape.org/channel/team_devel or the mailing list (https://sourceforge.net/p/inkscape/mailman/inkscape-devel/)
- prepare an idea of what you want to work on (in parallel)
- discuss your plans with the development team before you submit any application!
- Hurry up! All of this needs to be complete by April 9, 2019 (actual application period may be short for all of that + making the application itself ).
- Student Application Period: March 25, 2019 - April 9, 2019
