As far as I can tell this is no longer a valid option as it's not listed at https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/omnibus-gitlab/blob/master/files/gitlab-cookbooks/gitlab/attributes/default.rb or elsewhere in repo. Replaces part of !1303 (closed).
