Using Gitlab behind a loadbalancer without SSL
I have a new gitlab setup with https://mygitlab.mydomain on port 80 (http) which i am fronting with a load balancer that is handling the SSL termination.
Here is the current configuration:
external_url 'https://mygitlab.mydomain'
gitlab_rails['initial_license_file'] = '/opt/mylicense.gitlab-license'
nginx['listen_port'] = 80
nginx['listen_https'] = false
nginx['proxy_set_headers'] = {
"Host" => "$http_host_with_default",
"X-Real-IP" => "$remote_addr",
"X-Forwarded-For" => "$proxy_add_x_forwarded_for",
"X-Forwarded-Proto" => "http",
"X-Forwarded-Ssl" => "on",
"Upgrade" => "$http_upgrade",
"Connection" => "$connection_upgrade"
}
I can get to the server ip and gitlab comes up fine but when i try to go through the load balancer i always receive a ERR_CONNECTION_RESET.
Anyone have any suggestions?
