What does this MR do?
This MR is the cleanup MR following on !51594 (merged) and addressing the issues listed in #297394 (closed). It also includes two dark-mode updates. (Each change is in its own commit.)
As always, all work is behind the off :graphql-pipeline-details feature flag.
