Remove CheckParity from ai_harness doctor tool
What does this MR do and why?
Removes the CheckParity check entirely from the ai_harness doctor tool. The check existed to enforce the CLAUDE.md/AGENTS.md identical-content parity convention; with CLAUDE.md being removed across the repo, the check is obsolete. The doctor now runs three checks instead of four:
.ai/reference resolution.gitignorecoverage- Forbidden committed files
Changes:
- Delete
tooling/ai_harness/doctor/steps/perform_doctor_checks/check_parity.rband deregister it from the ROP chain inperform_doctor_checks/main.rb - Delete
spec/tooling/ai_harness/doctor/steps/perform_doctor_checks/check_parity_spec.rb - Rewrite parity-related scenarios in
integration_spec.rb(drop thedescribe 'parity check'block,CLAUDE.mdwrites in setups, and parity-based--fixtests) and updatemain_spec.rbto the three-check ordered chain - Update all five SPECIFICATION files (
00_process–04_scenarios) andtooling/ai_harness/doctor/AGENTS.md(+ itsCLAUDE.mdcopy) to describe the three-check tool;CLAUDE.local.mdentries stay (local override, not a parity copy) - Point stale
Gitlab/NoCodeCoverageCommentreferences (previously pointing at the deletedcheck_parity.rb) atcheck_ai_references.rb, which now carries the explanation comment inline - Update the
.ai-harness-doctor-patternscomment in.gitlab/ci/rules.gitlab-ci.yml(the**/CLAUDE.mdtrigger path is kept becauseCLAUDE.mdfiles still exist in the repo until the follow-up stream removes them)
