Keep current conversation when switching model in Duo Agentic Chat
What does this MR do and why?
Selecting a different model in the Duo Agentic Chat web UI previously called onNewChat(true), which discarded the active conversation thread. This MR removes that call so the current conversation continues with the newly selected model.
The websocket URL already includes currentModel on every connection (via the websocketUrl computed property), so the model switch takes effect on the next message without any other changes.
Changes:
duo_agentic_chat_state_manager.vue: removethis.onNewChat(true)fromonModelSelectduo_agentic_chat_state_manager_spec.js: update the test to assertonNewChatis NOT called on model selectdoc/user/gitlab_duo_chat/agentic_chat.md: update the "Select a model" section to reflect the new behavior
