Document Rspack as the GDK frontend bundler
Summary
GDK is switching its default frontend bundler to Rspack in Enable Rspack as the default frontend bundler (gitlab-development-kit!6068 - merged). These docs still tell people to configure Vite, so they stop working once that lands.
The GDK-in-a-box page is the one that matters most: it maps -p 3038:3038, which is the Vite port. The container now exposes 3808, so following the page as written leaves the dev server unreachable.
Reproduction steps
- Follow Configure GDK-in-a-box and start the container with the documented
docker runcommand. - Load GitLab in the browser. No frontend assets are served, since only the old Vite port is forwarded.
The same applies to the Vue 3 migration guide: gdk config set vite.vue_version 3 no longer selects a Vue version, and gdk restart vite restarts nothing.
