What it does not do

  • Remove Secure => Security Configuration => Compliance tab (it will be handled in a follow-up)

How to set up and validate locally

Numbered steps to set up and validate the change are strongly suggested.

  1. Upload a GitLab Ultimate license
  2. Clone https://staging.gitlab.com/govern-team-test/operational-vulnerabilities/security-reports to get the right .gitlab-ci.yml file
  3. Navigate to a project => Security & Compliance => Licence Compliance
  4. Verify the tabs are removed
  5. Navigate to a merge request => License Compliance Widget
  6. Verify the Mange License button is removed
  7. Navigate to the merge request's pipeline => License tab
  8. Verify the Mange License button is removed
