Feedback: Personalized Homepage
Everyone can contribute. Help move this issue forward while earning points, leveling up and collecting rewards.
We're rolling out the new Personal Homepage to all GitLab team members as part of our %18.4 milestone, and to customers on GitLab.com as part of our %18.5 milestone.
What's changing
- When you visit gitlab.com, you'll now have access to a new personalized homepage that consolidates all your important GitLab activities in one place
- The page brings together your to-do items, assigned issues, merge requests, review requests, and recently viewed content
- We've changed the default landing page to this new experience. You'll see a welcome message with an option to adjust to your default landing page if you prefer.
- If you had chosen a different landing page (e.g. the To-Do List or MR dashboard), you'll need to change your landing page manually if you want to use the Personal Homepage instead.
Why we're doing this
Our research shows this new experience helps users navigate GitLab's large surface area more effectively and makes it easier to pick up where you left off. In our diary study, participants found it so useful that some continued using the prototype after the study ended!
Your feedback matters
Please share your thoughts in #553938 - we're especially interested in:
- Anything missing or unintuitive
- Whether the surfaced items feel relevant for your daily work
- Any bugs or friction you encounter
