web-ide Error while loading project data. please try again.

Summary

On our gitlab instance the web-ide introduced with 10.7 to CE does not show files in repo and throws:

Error while loading the project data. Please try again.

This is true for all repos I tested in our installation. It is not dependent on subgroups or slashes in branch of the project as in #45412 (closed) or #45530 (closed) .

Steps to reproduce

• visit https://example.org/-/ide/project/namespace/project/edit/master/

Example Project

I could not reproduce the bug on gitlab.com but created a public example project at

https://git.idiv.de/-/ide/project/dsarpe/test-web-ide/edit/master/

But one needs to sign in to use the web IDE.

What is the current bug behavior?

In the browsers JS Console one error and four warnings appear
