Design Reviews/Critiques: How do we want to do these?
Enablement and Growth Designers: As you know, we're moving away from UX department-wide design reviews toward stage group design reviews. I would like to hear from you about what you'd like to get out of design reviews going forward.
Why are we doing this?
The team has grown so large. The department-sized design sessions were working well for some, not as well for others. Some designers felt they lacked context for much of the work being shown. Attendance was spotty, especially because it wasn't always clear who was on the agenda. We think there is a ton of value in peer design critique, so we're going to try doing this by UX manager, which hopefully will make the experience more meaningful to the designers on the team.
