Request for Drew Blessing to become a Merge Request Coach

Why you want to become a Merge Request Coach?

Before I joined GitLab I was very active in OSS, including in the GitLab project as a Core Team member. I've been at GitLab now 10 years and the last few years have not been as close to OSS as I used to be - although I still get asked to review contributions from time to time. I would like to become more active with the community again. Community contributions remain and important part of GitLab and I want to help contributors get their contributions merged.

How much time you are planning to spend on it?

A few hours per week - I will find a balance between current work and MR coach duties and adjust as needed.

Which duties you are focusing on (e.g. triage, finish stale MRs)?

Initially more triage but as time permits I can take over stale MRs.
