Error Budgets in the Engineering Allocation Meeting
In this change we are looking to change how the Error Budgets are included in the Engineering Allocation meeting.
- Stage groups are no longer expected to report weekly on their Error Budget spend. This should return the focus back to the 28-day availability values and remove some of the reporting overhead. Teams that would still like to monitor this weekly can still do so with the existing tools. There is also a slack app for weekly spend information.
- Stage groups who are over budget for three consecutive months will be added to the Engineering Allocation meeting for discussion.
- The Scalability team will continue to highlight specific items as needed in this meeting
