Cuts v1.2.0: VERSION bumped and propagated via just sync (root .reference.yaml, all three template pins, the conformance-config template, and the CI pin move to v1.2.0); CHANGELOG's Unreleased section becomes [1.2.0] -- 2026-07-10 with the book chrome family's Added entry recorded.

Ships: agents-md + pipeline slimmed to outcome asserts, the reference's own .ai/ fold, book chrome, five status flips to enforcing, three standards retired, scaffold + preview-capture subsystems removed, posture self-deviation retired (check-self 18/18).

After merge

Annotated tag v1.2.0 on the merge commit via just tag, then the two consumers re-pin and drop their dated agents-md exemptions.

Validation

just ship (guard + validate + check-self + build + agent) green at reference v1.2.0 / catalog v3.3.0.
