Update Staff UXR Responsibilities

Why is this change being made?

The MR helps to bring some parity between the job descriptions of a Staff UX Researcher and Principal Product Manager. Items where parity already exists (and therefore no changes were made) include:

  • setting product direction for cross-section and intra-section initiatives
    • Covered by: Personally initiate and conduct research within stage groups, across stages, and across GitLab
  • Works across sections
    • Covered by: Practice flexibility by leading and partnering with a variety of teams and disciplines with the goal of delivering research insights.
  • Celebrated as a thought leader internally and externally.
    • Covered by: Through your research, build a knowledge base that positions yourself as a thought leader within GitLab. Demonstrate this through your research insights and by sharing your unique point of view.
