The Ops sub-department consists of several teams, including Verify, Package, and Deploy. The Verify stage is further divided into Pipeline Execution, Pipeline Authoring, Pipeline Security, and Runner. Each team has its own handbook, JTBD (Jobs to be Done) framework, and collaboration strategies. The Verify:CI Platform group is responsible for CI Scaling, ensuring the scalability, performance, and reliability of GitLab's Continuous Integration platform. They use various tools and techniques for planning, async collaboration, and retrospectives. The group supports the Continuous Integration Scaling feature category and provides documentation and resources for developer onboarding.
