Add AirPods Pro >= 2 to Approved WFH Equipment List
Why is this change being made?
In an internal Slack thread the question came up whether Apple AirPods Pro can be expensed per our Approved WFH Equipment List. There used to be a ban on expensing this line of in-ear headphone due to audio quality issues, which was removed in ac411903.
HelpLab reportedly replied to a team member's question about whether current-gen AirPods could be reimbursed: "Since AirPods may be used for personal purposes in addition to work, they no longer qualify under our home office equipment policy due to potential tax implications."
For transparency's sake this MR clarifies that:
- we expense this specific line of in-ear headphones and in-ear headphones in general
- potential personal use isn't sufficient reason to ban equipment from reimbursement
