Copy Components to Terrain
I have a tree creator script I place on each terrain that make specific prototypeindex trees choppable. However, if I use just one terrain, everything is fine. But the minute I pin another terrain(or more than one), the trees are created as choppable but depending on the chunk of the terrain specific trees are not transitioned from their parent terrain to a new cloned terrain.
For example: Have two terrains in scene. Main(center) is @ 0,0. Second(north) is @ -7,0 (x = -30800,y=0,z=0 from center terrain). The script takes into account the offset and creates choppables at the position + offset which is fine. The problem is that I assume the option to "Copy Components to Terrains", when checked, would copy any script component as well to a sub terrain MapMagic is creating based on chunks, etc... In this case -7,1 was created by MapMagic, with stonesLoded, but no instances of my empty tree prefab(attached to terrain -7,0) which is just an empty object with specifics on how to handle behaviors of chopping trees (health, randoms, etc...).... If I return to trees in the -7,0 sectors, things are good as the trees(objects) were created as clones bound to the treeinstance from the terraindata, as they should.
Can you confirm that an attached script would/should be copied from it's parent sector (-7,0) to new sector (-7,1) in this case?
