There's nothing too worrying in that, so I guess we want an APITrace next. https://forum.openmw.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5583 is mostly a Windows-specific guide, but there should be helpful information in there.
The Windows binaries are broken right now, and my build system's apparently in need of tweaking to account for recent changes, so this is proving a pain. Hopefully I'll be able to try the trace in a few minutes.
By the way, the documentation you wrote here is wrong: https://github.com/apitrace/apitrace/pull/730/files. Those directories are supposed to be submodules, so you're supposed to get the code to appear there with git submodule update --init --recursive or by telling it to recurse submodules when you clone. I hate submodules as the need to grab them separately causes more problems than their existence fixes.
