Hey! My name is Zach. Here are a few things about me:

• I'm a Technical Writer.
• I joined GitLab in October, 2024.
• I live in North Carolina near a small beach town.
• I love to read horror, sci-fi, and non-fiction (mostly history or self-help books). Check out my Goodreads account to see my TBR list and what I'm currently reading.

Communication style

In general, I'm laid back and pretty flexible. You can:

• Message me privately on Slack anytime. I'm usually quick to respond.
• Email me. I'll get back to you when I can.
• Suggest a time on my Google Calendar to meet over Zoom.

I usually mute Slack notifications when I need "heads down time" to work on something. Feel free to message me, but I may not respond immediately.

Availability

• My time zone is ET.
• I usually start work around 9am or 9:30, and finish up between 5 and 6pm.
• I prefer the afternoons for meetings (anytime after 1pm).
• I don't have my Slack or work email on my phone, so I won't be responsive outside my work hours.
