multiple build files in one project folder
Created by: scphantm
I have a whole host of tasks to test, but for 100 tests, i may only have 3 or 4 different project folders. These are my sample java code or whatever to compile with the test. one set of sample source code, 40 or 50 tests per.
If im reading the docs correct, i would have to take that one sample project, copy it 100 times and put a single build file in each folder. Is there a way where i can specify multiple build files for each project folder? maybe something like this in the root projects build.gradle
gradleTest {
versions '4.3.1'
testBuildFiles ['testproject1/first_task_test.gradle',
'testproject1/second_task_test.gradle',
'testproject1/third_task_test.gradle',
'testproject1/fourth_task_test.gradle',
'testproject1/fifth_task_test.gradle',
'testproject1/sixth_task_test.gradle']
}
that would have one folder, src/gradleTest/testproject1
and use that project to run six different tests. That way i don't have to make 6 different copies of the blasted thing. Also, there may be a way for you to make the execution more efficient that way because technically, you don't have to rebuild the build folder 6 times, just once.
is this possible?
