Is it possible to use PotentialBlocks to simulate triaxial testing of granular materials?
I would like to know if it is possible to simulate the triaxial test with existing PBs and their responsive contact models. Or is it a simulation of quasi-static processes? I don't know if it's because of the contact model, but it's hard for the PBs ensemble to reach a stable state. This stable state refers to the overall unbalance force is less than 0.05 or the ratio of the total kinetic energy to the total elastic potential energy is less than 0.01, either way, using calm or using numerical damping, viscous damping, etc. Thus, I would like to know if anyone has made a hyperstatic simulation using PBs, which would let me know if it is possible for me to complete my simulation using the existing yade. What do I need to improve, especially the contact model.
