The 17.0 major release is coming on May 16, 2024! This version brings many exciting improvements to GitLab, but also removes some deprecated features. Various fixes to the 'shownames' tags (name and status bar above players) both in the networking code and in the hud code (tag antioverlap detection)
New feature: overlapping player tags are now always visible but with low alpha (hud_shownames_antioverlap_minalpha 0.4)
