Redundant connected message
In XOnotic with DP master we now have 3 messages when a player connects:
player connected
player is connecting...
player connected (in blue)
- the first one is printed by the engine (added by 962759dd, previously it was printed only in dedicated server)
- the second one is printed by qc when the player isn't considered a client yet (signon stage 1, before downloading anything)
- the third one is printed by qc when the player actually connects to the server (after he's finished downloading a map for example)
So for Xonotic (and other DP based games I imagine) the first message is not needed at all.
