Questionable code style
I have found several issues with the Daemon port.
- Global variables
- Overusage of raw pointers
- RAII violations
- No documentation
- Usage of identifies without proper qualification (such as uint32_t instead of std::uint32_t).
I think since Daemon port is a modern codebase, we should rise the bar and stick to modern design principles.
