The [International Telecommunication Union](http://www.itu.int/) (ITU), headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, is the leading United Nations agency for information and communication technologies. It has three sectors - ITU-R for radiocommunication, ITU-T for standardization, and ITU-D for development.
