Score system
There needs to be a score system that allows players to compete with each other. One round of gameplay shouldn't take longer than 15-20 minutes.
Ideas for things that can award points:
Bonus points

For each Player attack that hits a Barbarian. Different amount of points depending on type of Barbarian -
For each Guardian attack that hits a Barbarian. These award less points than Player attacks -
For each collected item. Items that drop more infrequently give more points -
The Player's accuracy (number of attacks that hit vs number of attacks in total) -
Round is won -
Round completion time (less is better)
Penalties
-
Player takes damage -
Player's Courage drops to 0, causing him to respawn -
Completed construction steps -
Player has lost the game
These categories should be tracked individually and there should also be a total score that sums them up. This allows players to compare their performance in detail.
