VFX for indicating velocity and pitch while gliding
While gliding far above ground you lose any good reference for the direction and magnitude of your velocity. Some cues would go a long way to improve this.
It could be subtle vortices at the wing tips, loose objects flapping in the wind (like a wind flag) or some flexing of the glider itself.
Vortices should be subtle, and I imagine it looking something like this:
(Fun fact, the vortices are indirectly simulated in the form of drag due to lift (induced drag), which plays a part in the equations. I could assist in tapping into that variable directly)
One thing to keep in mind is that you can't just use the velocity of an entity, since airspeed is relative to flow velocity, which is currently always 0 but will vary in the future.
