Begin supporting additional file formats

Very basic prep commit for #43 (closed) starting with removing explicit mp4 naming conventions

Note I added the assumption of a media/ subdirectory under fixtures where the media files would go that we'd use for testing and local development. We don't have any yet, but I thought this might get us a starting point that's easy to add to.
