Draft: Modernize codebase for go modules

  • switch to github.com/adrg/xdg
  • switch to github.com/godbus/dbus/v5
  • switch to github.com/google/uuid
  • fix tests
  • fix build system
  • update packaging using above modules, changes for 24.04

This fixes #45.
