Entering sleep state 'suspend' fails since version 4.9.0

My system: TUXEDO Stellaris Slim 15 AMD Gen6, TUXEDO OS 3

After upgrading tuxedo-drivers to 4.9.0 or 4.10.0 suspend only works once after booting, from the second try it fails. This is permanent, even after downgrading to 4.8.0 or booting another distribution without tuxedo-drivers from USB the problem still occurs. I can only get it to work again by reflashing the BIOS. The problem also occurs when I boot the latest TUXEDO-OS-4-202410300530.iso from USB.

What does not help:

Delete and reinstall NVIDIA driver

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi.ec_no_wakeup=1"

BIOS & EC update to latest version

Restore BIOS defaults

SSD firmware update to latest version

No. After FAI installation and multiple suspend/wakeup cycles with TUXEDO OS 4, 6.11.0-105009-tuxedo and tuxedo-drivers 4.10.0.

More informations about the state would be helpful:

• Which Nvidia Mode?
• Suspend with PSU pluged in or not?
• What things are failing?

• Hybrid graphics mode (on-demand)
• PSU plugged in
• Charging profile: Stationary use
• Profile: TUXEDO defaults
• The device tries to go to sleep, but then wakes up again immediately without user interaction

Can not reproduce with BIOS N.1.08A05, EC 1.14 (or BIOS N.1.08A06 and EC 1.15), TUXEDO OS 3 or 4. (GPU in hybrid-mode, plugged in PSU, charging profile: stationary use). Also used a Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVMe...

Sometimes the boost button LED is pink and stays pink up to desktop (but turns white after first suspend). This is strange, but suspend/sleep always worked for me.

I can confirm the strange led behavior, only not sometimes, but always.

I installed v4.10.1 with the following modification, that fixed the problem:

Removed line 1057 from src/uniwill_keyboard.h

After a reboot it worked only once. But with a shutdown (power unplugged for approx. one minute) this turns the boost button LED blue (after boot in desktop) and suspend works as expected.

Unfortunately the CPU power limit control (in your Tuxedo Control Center profile) no longer works with this patch. (I tested with tuxedo-drivers 4.11.2.)

I have the same issue with my new TUXEDO Stellaris Slim 15 AMD Gen 6, but with Arch Linux as OS.

linux 6.11.7.arch1-1 -> suspend fails every time
linux-lts 6.6.61-1 -> fails like mentioned above, when suspending the second time

I also have the same issue, including the strange LED behavior. Stellaris Slim 15 AMD Gen 6, Tuxedo OS 4 Customer support ticket created: #991135939 (system report also has been sent).

I have now tested with another device and was able to reproduce the problem. Suspend/Sleep is not working anymore (instant wake up).

Should be solved since tuxedo-drivers v4.11.4 (from ~end of november).
