evaluate calib time
Hi, there is a question about the time when eval_calib
is run.
---------------------------------------------------------------
lie-spline-experiments with commit id :d9ce409701e00273208862460fdf065b4ec566f8
environment: Ubuntu 18.04 [Intel® Core™ i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz × 8, mem 16GB]
---------------------------------------------------------------
the summary of time is
=============================================
custom_split : opt_time 58.928 num_iter 12
ceres_split : opt_time 14.251 num_iter 12
ceres_split_old : opt_time 14.4538 num_iter 12
ceres_se3 : opt_time 22.7377 num_iter 12
ceres_se3_old : opt_time 31.4682 num_iter 12
=============================================
however, the table 3 in paper "Efficient Derivative Computation for Cumulative B-Splines on Lie Groups" is
=============================================
SO(3) × R3 SE(3)
Ours Ours Baseline Ours Baseline
Analytic Ceres Ceres Ceres Ceres
5.82 14.18 15.09 23.56 37.14
==============================================
it is strange, the analytic one costs more time. is there anything wrong, when i test the performance or compare with table 3? Thanks.
