TGitCache.exe never releases the lock
By mtSch... on June 12, 2011 11:25 (imported from Google Code)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Open a folder with a .git sub-folder, causing TGitCache to aquire a lock on the folder
- Do pretty much anything else (Except open another repo folder, I guess?)
- Try to delete the folder or (more importantly) eject the folder's disk
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I understand it's a sticky situation, but it would be great if TGitCache could be alerted somehow when the explorer window closed (or maybe an explicit "exit" command?) so it could release the folder lock
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit 1.6.5.0
git version 1.7.4.msysgit.0
Windows 7 Ultimate build 7600
