TGitCache.exe keeps open file handles on git repo

By pro-lo...@optusnet.com.au on April 23, 2010 23:20 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Pull / Clone any repo
  2. Try to delete the entire repo folder
  3. Get a "Canno't delete as another program has a file or folder open"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
You can delete the folder

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.4.4 on Win7 x64

Please provide any additional information below.
If you open up task manager, and kill TGitCache.exe it works fine. From
using "Process Explorer" I see that TGitCache.exe has open handles to all
the .idx files in .git\objects\pack folder.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
